Terms and Conditions

The terms that govern your use of the SomaPay card, wallet and app.

Last updated: July 2026

1. Acceptance of terms

By creating a SomaPay account, ordering a SomaPay card, or using the SomaPay app, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy.

2. Your account

  • You must provide accurate information when registering
  • You are responsible for keeping your login details secure
  • You must be legally able to hold and use a payment account in your jurisdiction

3. Your SomaPay card

Your SomaPay card remains linked to your wallet at all times. It should not be shared with anyone else, and any suspected loss, theft or unauthorised use should be reported immediately so the card can be frozen.

4. Top-ups and balances

Funds added to your wallet are held for your use in making payments through the SomaPay card and app. We do not charge hidden fees on standard top-ups or tap payments; any applicable fees are disclosed in the app before you confirm a transaction.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to use SomaPay for unlawful transactions, to circumvent fraud controls, or to attempt to access accounts other than your own.

6. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or close an account where we reasonably suspect fraud, unlawful use, or a breach of these terms. Where possible, we will notify you and help you recover any remaining balance.

7. Liability

SomaPay is provided on an "as available" basis. We work to keep the service secure and reliable, but we are not liable for losses arising from circumstances outside our reasonable control, including third-party payment network outages.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of SomaPay after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
